Fun Run Participants

After five biennial events, the ACS has proven to be a must-attend event for the coatings industry professionals who want to gain insight into the latest innovations and cutting edge technologies the industry has to offer.

The first-ever ACS Fun Run was held Wednesday, April 13, starting at the Indianapolis Water Company Pumphouse. The event was a great success:

  • Approximately 300 runners participated in the event – a brisk morning run past the scenic canal and White River, then down through River Promenade.
  • The proceeds from Fun Run registration will be used to fund student participation at future American Coatings CONFERENCES.
  • BYK, sponsor of the event, donated a total of $2,000 to TechPoint Foundation for Youth, as part of its sponsorship.

The Fun Run will be held again in 2018 with the goal of increased participation, which means more funding for students to attend the American Coatings CONFERENCE. Check out the the route map of the course.
